YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....

ONE YEAR AGO TODAY..............................

Cale was born!!!!!!
He made his grand entrance at a whole 5 pounds, 18 inches long!
He was the tiniest baby I had ever seen!







This was the 1st time Carson met Cale, It was such a special moment. Amazing really....not a dry eye in the room!





Like alot of parents say "WHERE DID THIS YEAR GO" DJ and I find ourselves saying that ALOT! There is no way, a year ago I had been in the hospital over a month, waiting, wondering what Cale would be like, look like etc. Has this year been pure parenting BLISS?!? Yes and no.... Yes because we were lucky to have a healthy baby boy! But THIS baby did not come with an instruction book, and as a mom you forget alot 8 years later!!

Cale was a TUFF baby, LOTS of sleepless nights, lots of tears, lots of doctor appts, long car rides....... :( etc. There were days we would just look at each other and be like, "Wait................ it was suppose to be EASY" Right?????????????? Even though Cale has been a tuff baby, watching him grow at every stage is wonderful!


He has been walking now since 9 months, now at a year he RUNS! He is starting to say words, loves pointing at things he is interested in, loves to play with his brother, loves it when daddy gets home from work, and he still likes to wake up ONCE at night, just to keep me on my toes!! :) You can see in the more recent pics of Cale he is a Busy Happy boy! He has been a perfect fit to complete our family of 4. Carson has been OUTSTANDING in helping us with Cale, and loves his brother very much!

So we will celebrate Cale turning ONE this week, and I have a feeling you will find alot of messy cake pics on his birthday blog! :)

Halloween 2009

We hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!
We spent the night making Carson's favorite mini pizza's for dinner and handing out candy! We had a TON of kids, and well ADULTS (LAME) this year. Carson decided he did not want to go trick or treating so he helped me hand out the candy. Our friends came over at the end of the night to hang out out, Abby and Cale had a great time playing.

Cale would stand at the candy and put candy in the bowl when we needed refills!

Pumpkin Patch!

We had a great time at the Pumpkin Patch, we picked a weekday night and we were the only ones at the patch! No lines, and Cale was able to walk around without getting trampled it was perfect!




Cale loved looking at all the animals and listening to all their sounds! This one he is looking at the biggest TURKEY ever!

He wanted to carry this one all around the little market.

And............... he DID! :)

I have not laughed this hard in a LONG time! I talked my mom into riding this tube ride with me. She got stuck 1/2 down and flipped her whole tube!! OMG... SO FUNNY... I guess you had to be there but it was sooooo funny I laughed the rest of the way down!!! I don't think mom knew where she was in this pic!!! HAHAHHA Love ya mom
