Summer time is here...

Here are some quick snap shots of us enjoying some of this early summer weather!!

GREAT NEWS from DENVER!!!!!!

The email below is from my Sister in Law!

Kelly had follow up appointment today with the Oncological Thoracic Surgeon and he thought that Kelly was making great progress, that the incision looked good and that Kelly will just need to continue to take it at his own pace. They removed his last drain, so Kelly is now "tube free" which feels good. The surgoen also had the pathology report which said that the tumor was classified as Stage One Chondrosarcoma (bone cancer). This is acutually great news because since it is still stage one, all they reccomend for treatment is removal, which he has just completed. So the plan from here on out is first of all, recovering from surgery, and secondly close follow up and monitoring with regular scans several times a year for the next several years.Thanks for all of your positive wishes and prayers. Cale is 6 months old!

Cale turned 6 months on May 4th! He spent that time in the hospital, but now I am so THRILLED to report as of May 20th, Cale is healthy and one happy lil guy!! He is starting to babble a ton, rolls everywhere, trying new foods, even starting to sit up! :)
At his check up he was 18 pounds :) 25.75 inches long, still on the short side ;-)

Prayers.................

So my family found out some awful news, that my brother Kelly has a rare type of bone cancer, rare as in not many cases in the US at all and definitely not in someone as young as he is. Kelly will be having surgery at a cancer center to have the tumor that has grown between 2 of his ribs removed in the next couple weeks, and then the whole recovery, radiation process will begin.

If I could ask everyone to please keep him in your prayers for a quick recovery as this a hard time for our whole family.

The 3 day hospital stay

Just a quick recap in case you do not know, Cale has come down with a very nasty stomach virus and was unable to hold liquids in his body, hence MANY diaper changes :( He became dehydrated was rushed to the ER by aid car was admitted the same day, we are on Day 3 and Cale is showing improvement!!!! YEAH ..Not 100% quite yet, but I am serious when I say this lil guy is a trooper! With all the needle pokes, tests, checks, etc he is doing so good. He has a couple really good hours each day before he gets very uncomfortable with stomach cramps,diarrhea, and body aches. :( I had to post some of the moments where Cale was happy as can be! You would never know he is even sick! UPDATE: All tests came back great for today, so we get to go home!

This was Cale wondering where the heck he was, also his eyes got puffy from all the fluids they gave him through the IV.

Nothing better than Brother coming to visit and reading me a book!

Happy as can be!! There was not a nurse in the place that did not fall in love with that smile!

Check out my tiny little gown and my red socks the nurses put on me.

I was a happy camper most of the time, but then I would feel very sick and was wiped out!

Thanks to everyone who sent thoughts and prayers our way for Cale! He is doing well at home defiantly still not 100% but a ton better than he was!! :)

M's Game!!!

Carson and DJ had a great time at the M's game on Friday night! We were invited to celebrate our friend Lyle's birthday. I was spouse to go but Cale and I came down with the flu, so Carson got to take my place, and what a great time they had!!

1st stop Freddies..Of course... DJ had to buy them new hats and matching sunglasses!


2nd stop STRAWBERRIES!!!! Carson's Favorite!!!!
